0011|     REQUESTING A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR RELOCATING THE STATE FAIR.

0013|          WHEREAS, the long-term financial stability of the New
    |
0014|     Mexico state fair is vital to the people of our state; and
    |
0015|          WHEREAS, the current location of the New Mexico state fair
    |
0016|     may become inadequate in the near future to hold the event; 
    |
0017|          NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
    |
0018|     REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO that Bernalillo
    |
0019|     county be requested to conduct a thorough feasibility study of
    |
0020|     the relocation of the New Mexico state fair to the western
    |
0021|     portion of Bernalillo county; and
    |
0022|          BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding in an amount not to
    |
0023|     exceed one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) be found to fund
    |
0024|     the feasibility study; and
    |
0025|          BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be
    |
0001|     transmitted to the Bernalillo county commission.
