Honorable Speaker and Members of the House:

I have this day VETOED and am returning HOUSE BILL 368, as amended,

passed by the Forty-Third Legislature, Second Session, 1998.

This legislation funds a study of the feasibility of converting state government vehicles to renewable fuels. This bill is vetoed because the amount of money appropriated for this study is excessive. Any such study should be accomplished with a substantially lower funding requirement.
