0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO MAKE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CHAPARRAL

0012|     ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIBRARY IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0017|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1999 for the purpose of furnishing, equipping and constructing
    |
0019|     improvements to and acquiring books and telecommunications
    |
0020|     equipment for the Chaparral elementary school library in Dona
    |
0021|     Ana county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0022|     at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general
    |
0023|     fund.
