0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A WATERMASTER FOR THE RIO JEMEZ

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office
    |
0017|     of the state engineer for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for
    |
0018|     the purpose of funding a watermaster to enforce the settlement
    |
0019|     between tribal and nontribal users on the Rio Jemez.  Any
    |
0020|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
