0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ENERGY, MINERALS AND NATURAL

0012|     RESOURCES DEPARTMENT TO ASSIST LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS TO

0013|     CONSERVE ENERGY THROUGH HOME WEATHERIZATION.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars
    |
0017|     ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     energy, minerals and natural resources department for
    |
0019|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of
    |
0020|     weatherizing homes for persons whose incomes are at or below
    |
0021|     one hundred twenty-five percent of the federal income poverty
    |
0022|     guideline.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0023|     at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general
    |
0024|     fund.
