0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF NEW MEXICO

0012|     STATE UNIVERSITY FOR THE CENTER FOR ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($350,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the board of regents of New Mexico state university for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 and subsequent fiscal years
    |
0019|     for the purpose of creating the center for energy technologies
    |
0020|     on the campus of New Mexico state university in Las Cruces in
    |
0021|     Dona Ana county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0022|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall not revert to
    |
0023|     the general fund.
