0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT OF VARIOUS SENIOR

0012| CITIZEN PROGRAMS STATEWIDE.

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million eight hundred
|
0016| fifty-nine thousand six hundred fifty-four dollars
|
0017| ($2,859,654) is appropriated from the general fund to the
|
0018| state agency on aging for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for
|
0019| the purpose of providing various services for senior citizens
|
0020| statewide, including community services for seniors at risk of
|
0021| institutionalization such as adult daycare, Alzheimer
|
0022| education and assistance, case management, meals on wheels,
|
0023| home health and homemaker services, personal and respite care
|
0024| and senior companion and transportation programs. Any
|
0025| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
|

0001| fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
