0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY AND PLANNING

0012| IN NORTHWESTERN NEW MEXICO.

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--
|
0016| A. One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is
|
0017| appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of
|
0018| Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 in the
|
0019| following amounts and for the following purposes:
|
0020| (1) seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000)
|
0021| to contract for a study to be conducted that will determine
|
0022| the feasibility of developing a business center in Mexican
|
0023| Springs in McKinley county; and
|
0024| (2) twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to
|
0025| contract for rural community planning services for the
|

0001| communities of Counselors, Huerfano, Lake Valley, Nageezi and
|
0002| Pueblo Pintado in Sandoval, San Juan and McKinley counties.
|
0003| B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
|
0004| remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
|
0005| general fund.
