FORTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE SECOND SESSION, 1998 February 6, 1998 Mr. Speaker: Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred HOUSE BILL 429 has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows: 1. Strike line 25 on page 1 and strike lines 1 through 5 on page 2 and insert in lieu thereof "nine hundred thirty-five thousand seven hundred fifty dollars ($935,750); and". 2. On page 2, line 6, delete "(3)" and insert in lieu thereof "(2)". 3. On page 2, lines 7 and 8, strike "twenty-one thousand six hundred dollars ($21,600)" and insert in lieu thereof "twenty thousand five hundred twenty dollars ($20,520)". 4. On page 2, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following new subsection: "B. There is appropriated from the cash balances of the legislative council service to the legislative council service for fiscal year 1999 for pre-session expenditures and for necessary contracts, supplies and personnel for interim session preparation, three hundred fifty-two thousand three hundred dollars ($352,300).". 5. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly. 6. On page 2, line 9, strike "appropriation" and insert in lieu thereof "appropriations".
