HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 146 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY MIGUEL P. GARCIA REAUTHORIZATION; CHANGING THE PURPOSE OF A SEVERANCE TAX BOND APPROPRIATION FOR PROJECTS IN THE BARELAS AND ATRISCO AREAS OF ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY. Proceeds from the sale of severance tax bonds authorized pursuant to Subsection C of Section 2 of Chapter 4 of Laws 1996 (1st S.S.) for expanding the daycare area at the Barelas senior center shall not be expended for their original purpose but are reauthorized and appropriated to the state agency on aging in the following amounts for the following purposes: A. seventy-four thousand dollars ($74,000) for expansion and improvements to the Barelas senior multiservice center; and B. twenty-six thousand dollars ($26,000) for purchasing and equipping a fifteen- passenger van for the Atrisco mealsite program in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county. - 1 -
