HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 354 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY MAX COLL FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SANTA FE COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the state department of public education: A. four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) for planning, designing, constructing and equipping or purchasing, installing and equipping classrooms for the alternative high school in the Santa Fe public school district in Santa Fe county; B. three hundred ninety-eight thousand dollars ($398,000) to purchase and install educational technology and theater and dance floor equipment for the Santa Fe public schools' dropout prevention program in Santa Fe county; and C. five hundred twenty thousand dollars ($520,000) to purchase and install educational technology for the Santa Fe public schools' comprehensive student and staff database program to Santa Fe county; to the local government division of the department of finance and administration: three million eighteen thousand dollars ($3,018,000) for constructing, equipping and furnishing a school-community library in Eldorado located in Santa Fe county; to the board of regents of the New Mexico school for the deaf: seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) for campus improvements, roof repairs, completion of the library and dormitory, media equipment and vehicles for student transportation at the New Mexico school for the deaf located in Santa Fe county; to the office of cultural affairs: one million dollars ($1,000,000) to make improvements to the Camino Lejo museum complex in Santa Fe county; and to the state highway and transportation department: A. six hundred fifty thousand dollars ($650,000) to plan, design and make improvements to Botulph road, including necessary drainage and sewer improvements, in the city of Santa Fe in Santa Fe county; B. thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) for construction of an arroyo crossing on county road 60A over the Canada Ancha in Sunlit Hills in Santa Fe county; C. twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for improvements to county road 69 at the Arroyo Hondo crossing in Santa Fe county; D. two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for asphalt repaving on county road 64L, Richards avenue, in Santa Fe county; and E. one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for drainage and road improvements on Silverado subdivision roads off state road 14 and east of Lone Butte in Santa Fe county.
