FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS IN SAN MIGUEL
COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the department of environment:

                    five million three hundred eighty-seven thousand four hundred twenty-two
          dollars ($5,387,422) to design, construct and inspect various water and sewer
          system improvements in and acquire water rights for the city of Las Vegas in San
          Miguel county;

                    to the local government division of the department of finance and administration:

          A.  one million dollars ($1,000,000) to acquire water rights for municipal water
services for the city of Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

          B.  six hundred fifty-nine thousand thirteen dollars ($659,013) to make drainage
system improvements along arroyo Mantecca in the city of Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

          C.  five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to construct storm drainage
improvements in a two hundred acre area of the Rodriguez park in the city of Las Vegas in San
Miguel county;

          D.  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to acquire land along the Gallinas
river to control unwarranted growth along the riparian area in the city of Las Vegas in San
Miguel county;

          E.  two million seven hundred thousand dollars ($2,700,000) to acquire property,
demolish, renovate and construct facilities for a new city hall in the city of Las Vegas in San
Miguel county; and




          F.  one million one hundred eighty-eight thousand six hundred eighty-seven
dollars ($1,188,687) to construct a multipurpose recreation facility in the city of Las Vegas in
San Miguel county; and

                    to the state highway and transportation department:

          A.  three hundred thirty-nine thousand nine hundred twelve dollars ($339,912)
to design and construct flood control and drainage improvements on Katheryn drive in the city
of Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

          B.  one hundred seventy-four thousand nine hundred twelve dollars ($174,912)
to design and construct a storm drainage system on Kretz drive in the city of Las Vegas in San
Miguel county; and

          C.  four hundred sixty-eight thousand dollars ($468,000) to design and construct
storm drainage improvements in the east Legion residential area in the northeast part of the city
of Las Vegas in San Miguel county.
