SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 50 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY PHILLIP J. MALOOF FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ON THE WEST SIDE OF ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the local government division of the department of finance and administration: A. six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) to plan, design, construct and make improvements, including site preparation, to Rinconada Point park on the north side of Ouray road and on the east side of Unser boulevard in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; B. three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to plan, design, renovate, develop and make improvements, including site preparation, to Pat Hurley park located west of

Atrisco road and north of Central avenue in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; C. one hundred seventy thousand dollars ($170,000) to plan, design, develop and make improvements, including site preparation, to Park West located north of Ladera boulevard and west of Unser boulevard in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; D. two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to plan, design, develop and make improvements, including site preparation, to Parkway park located south of Ladera boulevard and west of Unser boulevard in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; E. two million dollars ($2,000,000) to plan, design, develop, prepare the site for and construct an indoor-outdoor aquatic center on Fortuna road near West Mesa high school in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; F. three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to make improvements to and expand the facilities of the West Mesa little league park located north of Sequoia road and east of Coors boulevard in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; G. one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to make improvements to and expand the facility of the Atrisco little league park located south of Central avenue and west of Atrisco drive in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

H. fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to purchase and equip vans for the transportation of senior citizens and other persons to and from the West Mesa community center in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; I. fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to purchase and equip vans for the transportation of senior citizens and other persons to and from the Pat Hurley Park community center in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; J. one hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) to provide equipment, supplies and machinery for a primary care center at the Alamosa family center located south of Central avenue and north of Bridge boulevard on the west side of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and K. two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to purchase equipment and supplies for the crime laboratory of the city of Albuquerque located at the north valley substation in Bernalillo county.
