                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

FOR CURRY COUNTY CAPITAL OUTLAY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the state highway and transportation department:

          A.  one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to improve county road 17
from county road G to county road J in Curry county;

          B.  four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) to improve county road 3
from state highway 70 to state road 348 in Curry county;

          C.  one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to improve county road

O from county road 9 to county road 10 and county road M from county road 9 to county road
9.5 in Curry county; and

          D.  one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to improve county road 9
from county road N to county road O and county road 9 from county road L to county road N in
Curry county; and

                    to the local government division of the department of finance and administration:

                    two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for renovation and preservation
          of the Curry county courthouse.
