SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 295 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY DIANNA J. DURAN MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR VARIOUS CAPITAL PROJECTS IN OTERO COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the department of environment: A. one million two hundred sixty-one thousand dollars ($1,261,000) for the purpose of making repairs and improvements to the water treatment system in the village of Tularosa in Otero county; B. five hundred ten thousand dollars ($510,000) for making water line replacements and sewer line improvements in the village of Tularosa in Otero county; - 1 - to the state highway and transportation department: three hundred forty-five thousand dollars ($345,000) for the purpose of making improvements and repairs to Bookout road and Bosque street in the village of Tularosa in Otero county; and to the local government division of the department of finance and administration: five hundred seventeen thousand dollars ($517,000) to construct a new police department building in the village of Tularosa in Otero county.
