                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS IN MEADOWLAKE IN VALENCIA COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay project be
funded:

                    to the state highway and transportation department:
          
          A.  forty-four thousand dollars ($44,000) to blade,
shape, compact prime and pave a portion of Journey road in
Meadowlake in Valencia county;

          B. thirty-three thousand dollars ($33,000) to blade,
shape, compact prime and pave a portion of Amy road in Meadowlake

in Valencia county;

          C.  forty-eight thousand five hundred dollars ($48,500)
to blade, shape, compact prime and pave a portion of Turner road
in Meadowlake in Valencia county;

          D.  forty thousand dollars ($40,000) to blade, shape,
compact prime and pave a portion of Dairy road in Meadowlake in
Valencia county; and

          E.  three hundred thirty-four thousand dollars
($334,000) to blade, shape, compact prime and pave a portion of
the Manzano expressway in Meadowlake in Valencia county; and
     
                    from the New Mexico irrigation works construction fund
          to the state engineer:
     
                    four hundred ninety-six thousand dollars ($496,000) to
          make improvements to the ditch lining of the irrigation
          system, including extending or installing irrigation
          pipe as needed, at the Bluewater-Toltec irrigation
          district in Cibola county.
