    1.  On page 1, strike lines 15 and 16 in their entirety.
  
    2.  On page 1, strike lines 19 through 21 in their entirety
  and insert in lieu thereof:
  
    "WHEREAS, many alternative materials besides pesticides are
  now available to promote health and well-being; and".
  
    3.  On page 1, line 25, after "measures" insert ",
