LUJAN | 0005| | 0006| | 0007| | 0008| | 0009| | 0010| A JOINT MEMORIAL | 0011| REQUESTING THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE | 0012| TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO SAN ILDEFONSO PUEBLO IN ESTABLISHING | 0013| AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN. | 0014| | 0015| WHEREAS, the pueblo of San Ildefonso has a distinctive | 0016| language, reservation, people and culture that all | 0017| significantly contribute to the heritage of New Mexico; and | 0018| WHEREAS, the sovereign Indian pueblo of San Ildefonso, | 0019| located in Santa Fe county, needs an economic development plan | 0020| to serve the welfare and well-being of tribal members; | 0021| NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE | 0022| STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the economic development department | 0023| be requested to support the pueblo with technical assistance | 0024| in the preparation of an economic development plan; and | 0025| BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this memorial be | - 1 - 0001| transmitted to the secretary of economic development. | 0002|  |
