      Your RULES COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                      SENATE JOINT MEMORIAL 7
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
      1.  On page 1, line 11, strike "INTERIM LEGISLATIVE ETHICS
  COMMITTEE" and insert in lieu thereof "LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL TO
  DIRECT THE APPROPRIATE INTERIM LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE.
      
      2.  On page 2, line 2, Line 7, strike "will" and insert in
  lieu thereof "may".
  
      3.  On page 2, line 12, after "the" strike the remainder of
  the line, and on line 13, strike "committee" and insert in lieu
  thereof "legislative council direct the approperiate interim
  legislative committee to".
  
      4.  On page 2, line 16, after "the" insert "appropriate".
      
      5.  On page 2, line 17, strike "ethics".
  
      6.  On page 2, line 20, after "the" insert "appropriate".
  
      7.  On page 2, line 21, strike "ethics".
  
      8.  On page 2, line 24, after "the" insert "appropriate".
