0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND PROGRAM SUPPORT FOR PERSONS

0012|     WITH HUMAN IMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars
    |
0016|     ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for
    |
0018|     the purpose of funding programs for persons with human
    |
0019|     immunodeficiency virus, including medications, clinical
    |
0020|     treatment and support services, insurance assistance, Native
    |
0021|     American case management and traditional medicine, prevention
    |
0022|     programs, provider education programs and counseling and
    |
0023|     testing.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0024|     the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
