0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR MUSEUM RENOVATIONS AND

0012|     IMPROVEMENTS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the economic development department for expenditure in fiscal
    |
0018|     year 1999 for improvements and renovations for the pueblo of
    |
0019|     Acoma's museum and visitor center.  Any unexpended or
    |
0020|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0021|     shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0022|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0023|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0024|     immediately.
