It is proposed to amend Article 11, Section 2 | 0017| of the constitution of New Mexico to read: | 0018| "The public regulation commission shall have | 0019| responsibility for [chartering and regulating business | 0020| corporations in such manner as the legislature shall provide. | 0021| The commission shall have responsibility for] regulating | 0022| public utilities, including electric, natural gas and water | 0023| companies [transportation companies, including common and | 0024| contract carriers; transmission and pipeline companies, | 0025| including] and telephone, telegraph and information |
