MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO INCREASE RATES OF REIMBURSEMENT FOR CHILD CARE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION--CHILD CARE.--Four million six hundred thousand dollars ($4,600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of increasing rates of reimbursement paid for child care for eligible families. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
