MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO SCHOOL OF MEDICINE FOR THE MASTER'S IN PUBLIC HEALTH DEGREE PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred eighty-six thousand nine hundred dollars ($386,900) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for the school of medicine for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of expanding the master's in public health degree program to maintain accreditation. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
