AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A NATIVE AMERICAN HEALTH CARE PROJECT.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of contracting for the development of a business plan for a project to provide community-based mental health and substance abuse services to Native Americans. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
