Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 349

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 21, line 18, strike "ten thousand dollars ($10,000)" and insert in lieu thereof "five thousand dollars ($5,000)".

2. On page 29, strike lines 21 through 25, and insert in lieu thereof:

"Section 10. APPLICABILITY--The provisions of Sections 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 of this act apply to the 1999 and subsequent taxable years.".
