AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO DEVELOP URBAN AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION MAGNET SCHOOLS STATEWIDE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of developing urban agricultural education magnet schools to integrate agricultural curricula into regular high school curricula. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
