AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A DUAL-DIAGNOSIS INTERVENTION PROGRAM FOR PERSONS WITH PSYCHIATRIC AND ADDICTIVE DISORDERS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure by the Las Vegas medical center in fiscal year 2000 to implement a twelve-month dual-diagnosis psychiatric and addictive disorders program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
