AN ACT

RELATING TO STATE PROPERTY; REQUIRING THE GENERAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO ENTER INTO A LEASE WITH THE LOS LUNAS SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR PART OF THE LOS LUNAS HOSPITAL AND TRAINING CENTER CAMPUS AND BUILDINGS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. LEASE REQUIRED.--Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, the general services department shall enter into a five-year lease with the Los Lunas school district for three tracts of land totaling one hundred thirty-two and fifty-nine one hundredths acres that are included in the campus of the Los Lunas hospital and training center. One tract consists of forty-five and ninety-nine one hundredths acres, more or less, of undeveloped land, the second tract consists of twenty-two acres, more or less, on which some of the buildings of the Los Lunas hospital and training center are located, and the final tract consists of sixty-four and six-tenths acres, more or less, on which the remainder of the buildings are located. The Los Lunas school district shall agree to have a legal survey of the property performed and provide the survey and legal description to the general services department within the five-year period of the lease.
