MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN SUPPORT OF THE INTERNATIONAL MARIACHI CONFERENCE IN LAS CRUCES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of providing equipment, teaching materials and supplies, instructional assistance and travel for the Hispanic folklore dance workshops at the annual international mariachi conference in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
