MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL SERVICE TO REPLACE THE NETWORK PROTOCOL AND FOR OTHER REPLACEMENTS AND ENHANCEMENTS TO THE LEGISLATIVE INFORMATION SYSTEM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred sixty thousand four hundred fifty dollars ($360,450) is appropriated from the general fund to the legislative council service for expenditure in fiscal years 1999 through 2001 to replace the network protocol and provide other replacements and enhancements to the legislative information system. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the general fund.
