AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE HEALTH AND EDUCATION SERVICES TO HOMELESS CHILDREN.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of contracting to provide health and education services for homeless children. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
