MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO COMPLETE A CORRIDOR STUDY FOR NEW MEXICO ROUTE 6 FROM THE PUEBLO OF LAGUNA TO LOS LUNAS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state highway and transportation department for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of completing a corridor study to determine if a need exists for four-lane New Mexico route 6 from the pueblo of Laguna to Los Lunas. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
