Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 847

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 2, line 1, after "belief" insert a semicolon

strike the remainder of line 1, and strike line 2 up to the word "and".

2. On page 3, strike lines 2 and 3 in their entirety

and insert, in lieu thereof:

"(2) Damages, attorney fees, and costs,

pursuant to the Tort Claims Act, Section 41-4-1, et. seq. NMSA 1978.".

3. On page 3, line 15, strike the period and insert in

lieu thereof "nor does it impair any other exemptions granted by law.".
