AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO EXPAND THE WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN FARMERS' MARKET NUTRITION PROGRAM.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred seven thousand five hundred seventy-nine dollars ($107,579) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of expanding the women, infants and children farmers' market nutrition program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
