AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHERS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six million seven hundred sixty thousand dollars ($6,760,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 to fund technology integration professional development for all teachers in kindergarten through grade twelve. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
