AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO COMPLETE AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STUDY AND PLAN FOR THE FRUITLAND AREA AROUND MORGAN LAKE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of contracting to have an economic development study and plan completed for the area around Morgan Lake in Fruitland for the surrounding Navajo nation chapters in San Juan county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
