MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE FOR PROGRAMS OF THE CLAUNCH-PINTO SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico department of agriculture for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of funding a variety of conservation projects in the Claunch-Pinto soil and water conservation district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
