AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO MATCH FUNDS FROM COLORADO, UTAH AND ARIZONA TO DEVELOP THE FOUR CORNERS MONUMENT AND PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TOURIST SERVICES.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of providing matching funds with Colorado, Utah and Arizona to develop additional tourist services at the Four Corners national monument. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
