44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE UPPER FRUITLAND CHAPTER IN SAN JUAN COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to purchase a vehicle for the senior center at the Upper Fruitland chapter in San Juan county; and

ninety-two thousand dollars ($92,000) for an addition to the Upper Fruitland chapter senior center in San Juan county; and

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to plan, design and construct a solar power project to utilize energy for homes in the Upper Fruitland chapter area in San Juan county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to improve outdoor recreational facilities at Upper Fruitland chapter in San Juan county.
