44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN CURRY AND HARDING COUNTIES.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

one hundred thousand nine hundred eighty-five dollars ($100,985) for water system improvements for the village of Grady in Curry county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to improve county road 17 in Curry county; and

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for road repairs in Melrose in Curry county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) to purchase a new fire pumper truck for the Melrose fire department in Curry county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design, construct and equip an addition to the county annex in Mosquero in Harding county;

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to plan, design, construct and equip an addition to the community center in Roy in Harding county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for improvements to the fire station in Grady in Curry county; and

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to plan, design and construct a swimming pool in Melrose in Curry county.
