REQUESTED BY

FOR EXHIBIT UPGRADES AT THE SMOKEY BEAR MUSEUM IN LINCOLN COUNTY AND

FACILITY PURCHASE IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the energy, minerals and natural resources department

two hundred eighty-three thousand dollars ($283,000) to purchase, renovate, make improvements to and equip a building for the oil conservation division district office in Hobbs located in Lea county; and

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for exhibit upgrades and related improvements at the visitors' center of the Smokey Bear historical park in the village of Capitan located in Lincoln county.
