FOR EXPANDING THE PURPOSE AND EXTENDING THE EXPENDITURE PERIOD OF A

SEVERANCE TAX BOND APPROPRIATION FOR AN ALCOHOL REHABILITATION AND

DETENTION CENTER TO SERVE ALL INDIAN PUEBLOS IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.



The severance tax bond proceeds appropriated to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

pursuant to Laws 1995, Chapter 218, Section 19 to conduct a needs assessment and to plan and design an

alcohol rehabilitation center to serve all Indian pueblos located in Sandoval county may be expended to

plan or design an alcohol rehabilitation and detention center to serve all Indian pueblos in Sandoval

county as well as the other purpose specified in that section. The period of time for expenditure of this

appropriation may be extended through fiscal year 2003. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance

remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the severance tax bonding fund.
