44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN BAYARD IN GRANT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state engineer

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to purchase water rights for Bayard in Grant county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to improve and resurface various city streets in Bayard in Grant county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to construct and improve the Bataan memorial park, a regional recreational complex in Bayard in Grant county; and

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to construct, equip, furnish and improve the Bayard public safety building in Grant county.
