REQUESTED BY

FOR CHANGING THE PURPOSE OF A SEVERANCE TAX BOND APPROPRIATION TO

DRILL WATER WELLS IN THE CITY OF ESPANOLA IN RIO ARRRIBA COUNTY.

The severance tax bond proceeds appropriated to the department of environment pursuant to Subsection HHH of Section 9 of Chapter 118 of Laws 1998 to design, construct and install a flouride treatment facility for the Espanola city water system in Rio Arriba county shall not be used for that purpose, but are appropriated to the department of environment for the drilling and equipping of drinking water wells on the west side of the city of Espanola in Rio Arriba county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the severance tax bonding fund.
