HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 856

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN ROOSEVELT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for road repairs in Roosevelt county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to purchase patrol cars and computers for the Roosevelt county sheriff's office;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to renovate and equip the multipurpose facility at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds; and

three hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($375,000) to construct, equip and furnish a building at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds.
