STATE OF NEW MEXICO

44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN BAYARD IN GRANT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) to design, construct and inspect wastewater system improvements in Bayard in Grant county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to construct and improve Bataan memorial park, a regional recreational complex in Bayard in Grant county; and

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to construct, equip, furnish and improve the Bayard public safety building in Grant county; and

• to the state department of public education

one hundred ten thousand dollars ($110,000) for educational technology for the Cobre school district in Bayard in Grant county.
