44TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 1999

REQUESTED BY

FOR SEWER AND WASTEWATER PROJECTS IN SENATE DISTRICT 10.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

one million three hundred thousand dollars ($1,300,000) to plan and construct a sewer system in Corrales in Bernalillo county;

seven million dollars ($7,000,000) to continue construction of the sewer project in Western Meadows or the north valley area in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

seven million dollars ($7,000,000) to continue construction of sewer projects in the north valley area of Bernalillo county. Expenditure of the appropriation is contingent upon the city of Albuquerque, Bernalillo county and the village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque in Bernalillo county entering into an agreement regarding planning, designing and constructing sewer collection and treatment facilities in the north valley area of Bernalillo county.
