SUMMARY



Synopsis of HGUAC Amendments



The House Government and Urban Affairs Committee amendments provide the following: appropriate $500.0 in general fund for the Conservation Services Division with a commensurate reduction in game protection fund; appropriate an additional $250.0 in game protection fund for capital outlay within the Game Protection Fund Division; and restore 7.50 FTE.



Synopsis of Bill



House Bill 7 reflects the appropriation recommended by the Legislative Finance Committee for the FY2000 budgets for the Department of Game and Fish, Share with Wildlife program, and Endangered Species program.





FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



The bill, as amended, appropriates a total of $24,006.2 in game protection fund, game protection fund cash balances, general fund, other fund balances and federal funds to fund the programs and administrative operations of the Department of Game and Fish.
