Synopsis of Bill



This bill appropriates $300.0 to the Board of Regents of the New Mexico State University to be used by the Cooperative Extension Service for providing holistic after-school services and programs for youth.



Significant Issues



According to the CHE, the project proposed in this bill was ranked 3rd of eleven special project requests made by the institution.



FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



The appropriation of $300.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY00 shall revert to the general fund.



RELATIONSHIP



This bill relates to Senate Bill 51 which appropriates $500.0 for the same purpose as that proposed in this bill.
